Product Introduction

The portable IV tester is applied to the detection of power and generation efficiency of photovoltaic solar cells, which can rapidly assess the current electrical performance value, maximum power value, and other parameters of photovoltaic panels. Users can determine the current health status of photovoltaic panels based on the IV curve graph and the maximum power value.

The PV1500 features a dual-language interface in both Chinese and English, equipped with a one-key data export function, enabling simple and fast operation of the entire machine. Additionally, it possesses the capabilities of cumulative power generation testing and photovoltaic power station system efficiency (pr) detection. Users can utilize the PV1500 to simultaneously perform IV testing, power generation testing, PR testing, irradiance collection, and other functions.

0~1500V high-precision curve testing

Equipped with the latest resistance testing module from Qianyu Technology, it provides more precise detection for single components, with a maximum testing capability of IV curve testing for 1500V strings and series-parallel testing for 30A strings.

STC Rated Parameter Conversion Test

The IV test is compatible with over 95% of current photovoltaic panel specifications, allowing for faster switching between different specifications of module parameters. It automatically calculates the current power generation efficiency and conversion rate of the panel, helping users gain a more accurate understanding of the real parameters of the modules.

String testing

The string testing of photovoltaic power plants can quickly measure the power generation efficiency, short circuits, power generation, and other aspects of photovoltaic strings. It can also quickly screen the electrical performance between different strings, thereby categorizing MPPT parameters, screening inverter string efficiency, and improving the power output of the plant.

Single Module Testing

The PV1500 portable IV curve tester is equipped with a unique module power generation testing function that is compliant with the IEC61853 standard for module qualification testing adopted by Europe and the United States, or for local solar irradiance resource detection.

The tester offers a high-resolution testing mode with up to 400 points and Ethernet monitoring functionality that complies with the Modbus/tcp protocol, suitable for scientific research needs.

The PV1500 can continuously test photovoltaic cell IV data with automatic detection every 20 seconds, which can help users continuously monitor and compare various performance parameters of components.

Irradiance Monitoring and PR Value for Power Generation

It can real-time detect the cumulative power generation value of the current component/string, allowing for estimation and comparison of the PR value of the entire photovoltaic power plant based on the overall power generation value.

IV Compensation Function

It can truly support the outdoor verification of photovoltaic cells, adapting to the outdoor performance testing of photovoltaic cells during the experimental stage of engineering applications.

Environmental Monitoring Function

It has environmental monitoring functions such as ambient temperature detection, solar panel temperature detection, solar irradiance detection, and can provide optional radiometer matching for users.

Range Switching

The PV1500 can automatically switch test ranges for different specifications of components/strings to provide a more precise testing range, while also providing over-voltage and over-current protection.

High Expandability

The PV1500's internal memory can reliably store over 2000 test waveforms, and it also provides an SD card slot for expandable storage capacity. Users can synchronize the stored data from the main unit to PC software for analysis through a USB connection.

It has a built-in extensive database of solar cell module correction models, covering products from most component manufacturers, providing a reference for the conversion ratio of test results and comprehensive parameter setting functions for users to manually add.

High-voltage isolation design for safer operation

The equipment features a high-voltage isolated power supply design, providing users with reliable safety assurance. The maximum open-circuit voltage test range can reach 1500V, and it offers a photovoltaic array testing function up to 30KW.

100-meter wireless communication

The wireless connection between the main unit and the probe provides a maximum wireless connection range of 100 meters, making field testing more convenient and easy.

Touchscreen Panel Operation

The main unit's operation panel adopts a touchscreen and keyboard combination, and the high-brightness LCD screen can display more clearly in sunlight. The entire machine includes a variety of external device interfaces and provides multiple expanded networking functions.
